Chickpea and pea fingers for baby-led weaning
These are packed with plant based iron + zinc, plus gut loving fibre. Perfect for baby-led weaning or a toddler snack on the go! My little one loves them!
YOU NEED
50g frozen peas, defrosted
250g chickpeas (drained weight) approx one small can or half large jar (I’ve used Bold Bean Co)
85g self raising flour
150mls milk (any)
TO MAKE
Whack all your ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth. Pour the mix into a grease-proof paper-lined brownie tin.
Bake for 25-30 mins until browning nicely on top. Leave to cool in the tin for 10-15 mins or so then slice and leave to cool fully
Leave in the fridge for a couple of days or freeze.
