Christina Hills Baby and child nutritionist, Paediatric Dietitian, The Happy Feeding Company

Hi, I am Christina Hills…

With over a decade of experience in paediatric nutrition, I’ve worked in a wide range of roles supporting parents, babies and children with their nutrition and feeding needs. I trained at some of London’s leading hospitals- including Guy’s and St Thomas’ and The Royal Free- and spent three years on the children’s wards at University College Hospital, supporting children with cancer and their families through some of the most challenging times. I have worked alongside occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and child psychologists to support families with nutrition.

From there, I moved into a community paediatric role in West London. During this time, I also co-ran a specialist feeding clinic with a speech and language therapist, helping families navigate complex feeding challenges with compassion and teamwork.

I believe that feeding and nutrition shouldn’t feel clinical or complicated- it should feel connected, nourishing and intuitive. Every recommendation I make is rooted in the latest research, but always tailored to your child’s unique needs, your families preferences and rhythm.

Whether we’re working through allergies, gut issues, selective eating, growth concerns or starting solids for the very first time, I’ll help you tune into your child’s cues, find realistic solutions, and bring joy and ease back to feeding and mealtimes.

“I am so pleased that I reached out to Christina for advice with my 10 m/o. I was so lost in which direction to take her weaning journey and Christina was so friendly and reassuring which took so much of the pressure and anxiety I had about it away.”

“Her kindness, professionalism, and ability to make you feel truly heard are unmatched. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for guidance with their child’s dietary needs.”

How I ended up here…

I have always loved food, so after studying for my undergraduate degree at Manchester University, I moved to the big smoke and studied for my masters in Nutrition at Kings College London. After that, I trained as a dietitian, graduating in 2015 - also at Kings College London - and subsequently fell in love with helping families through food.

Side note- I am also chef trained :) and a big believer that good tasting food shouldn’t stop when babies arrive at the table.

I have worked in lots of different kinds of roles supporting parents with babies and children with their nutrition needs, including 10+ years in the NHS. I trained at some of the top London Hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’ and The Royal Free Hospital, and spent three years working on the children’s wards at University College Hospital supporting children with cancer diagnoses and their families, before moving into a community paediatric role in West London.

This combined with my passion for cooking and feeding led to me creating an online space that makes feeding babies (and children!) feel doable, with recipes, meal ideas and inspiration and which answered all your baby and child nutrition questions- and there The Happy Feeding Company was born!

After my daughter was born I took the leap and opened up my online clinic and have started supporting mums and families through online and in-person workshops too :)
