1.Terms and Conditions for Digital Products (eBooks and Downloads)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you purchase any digital content (e.g. ebooks, guides, downloadable resources) from The Happy Feeding Company (“we”, “us”, or “our”) via our website www.thehappyfeedingcompany.com

By purchasing a digital product from us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

To purchase digital products from us, you must be:

  • At least 18 years old; and

  • Legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

3. Product Description

We take reasonable care to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, and availability are accurate. However, small variations may occur. All products are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute individualised medical or dietary advice.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT if applicable.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

  • We accept payment via secure third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal).

5. Delivery of Digital Content

  • Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your digital download via email or an on-screen link.

  • If you do not receive the download within a reasonable time, please contact us via the contact form on the website

6. Usage and Licence

When you purchase an ebook or digital download, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your personal use only.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, or distribute the digital product

  • This includes sharing via social media platforms and messaging apps

  • Reproduce or modify it

  • Use it for commercial purposes

  • Upload or host it on other websites or platforms

7. Refunds and Cancellations (Digital Products)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a right to a 14-day cancellation period unless you have started accessing the content immediately.

By completing your purchase and ticking the checkbox at checkout, you agree to waive your right to cancel once access begins.

Therefore:

  • No refunds are issued for digital products after purchase and access has been provided

8. Intellectual Property

All content is protected by copyright law. All rights, title, and interest in the content remain with Christina Hills and The Happy Feeding Company. Unauthorised use constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in legal action.

9. Disclaimers

  • It is not a substitute for personalised medical advice or consultation with a registered healthcare professional.

  • You agree not to rely solely on the content for any medical decisions regarding yourself or your child.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any:

  • Loss or damage arising from your use of the content

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Incompatibility with your device or software

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the digital product.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you book a 1:1 consultation with The Happy Feeding Company (“we”, “us”, or “our”) via our website www.thehappyfeedingcompany.com

By booking an appointment with me, you agree to these Terms:

Thank you for booking a consultation with me. Please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions.

1. Appointments + consultations

• Initial consultations take place online via a secure video platform or telephone if that is preferred. Follow-up appointments may be online or in-person as agreed.

• Appointments are one-on-one and tailored to your baby or child’s individual needs.

• Please ensure you are in a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection for online sessions

• I cannot be held responsible if you are unable to attend the consultation at the scheduled time due to any technical or connection issues

2. Payment + Fees

• Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment

• Payments are processed securely via Square or other online payment provided at the time of booking

• Failure to pay at booking means your appointment is not guaranteed

• Fees cover the consultation, a personalised plan, and any relevant follow-up notes 

3. Cancellations + Rescheduling

• Life happens, and I get it! If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice, and I’ll do my best to offer an alternative slot 

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full with no exceptions to this

4. What You Can Expect 

• A detailed diet assessment of your baby or child’s feeding and nutrition, and any relevant conditions 

• Personalised recommendations based on your baby or child’s specific needs

• A practical, evidence-based plan tailored to your baby or child’s growth, development, and dietary or feeding challenges 

5. Medical Disclaimer

• While I provide expert dietary guidance, this service does not replace medical advice from a GP, paediatrician, or other healthcare provider

• If your child has complex medical needs, I may recommend additional support from a healthcare team

6. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance

• Your personal data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations 

• I will only collect and store information necessary to provide safe and effective dietary advice for your child

• All personal information and consultation notes are stored securely in an online scheduling app (acuity) and locally for the purposes of providing nutritional care only, and will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent

• You have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of your personal data at any time

• If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, please feel free to ask

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms
