Baby’s first Yorkshire puds
YOU NEED
140g plain flour
4 eggs
200mls milk (any)
Olive oil for cooking
Ground black pepper
TO MAKE
Preheat oven to 210 degrees (fan)
Grab a 12 hole muffin tin, drizzle some oil in the holes, and place in the oven to warm through (or a Yorkshire tin)
Make the batter by whacking the flour into a bowl and beating in the eggs until smooth. Add the milk gradually, beating as you go to ensure its lump free
Season with pepper then pop the batter in a pourable jug
Remove your hot tray from the oven then evenly pour the batter into the holes, before returning to the oven for 20-25 mins (don’t peek until around 18-20 mins) you want them puffy and golden
TOP TIP
You can now cool them and freeze for up to 1 month. Then just reheat them on the big day in the oven or air-fryer!
