Baby’s first Yorkshire puds

YOU NEED

  • 140g plain flour

  • 4 eggs

  • 200mls milk (any)

  • Olive oil for cooking

  • Ground black pepper

TO MAKE

  1. Preheat oven to 210 degrees (fan)

  2. Grab a 12 hole muffin tin, drizzle some oil in the holes, and place in the oven to warm through (or a Yorkshire tin)

  3. Make the batter by whacking the flour into a bowl and beating in the eggs until smooth. Add the milk gradually, beating as you go to ensure its lump free

  4. Season with pepper then pop the batter in a pourable jug

  5. Remove your hot tray from the oven then evenly pour the batter into the holes, before returning to the oven for 20-25 mins (don’t peek until around 18-20 mins) you want them puffy and golden

TOP TIP

You can now cool them and freeze for up to 1 month. Then just reheat them on the big day in the oven or air-fryer!
